Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Park Jae Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brenden Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Park Jae Sung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brenden Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Abbott throws a half hearted mid kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jae Sung.
Jae Sung fails in his attempt to clinch.
Abbott throws the kick towards the body but Jae Sung avoids it.
Jae Sung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Abbott steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jae Sung.
Abbott staying out of range there.
Abbott scores with a hook to the body. Jae Sung takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Abbott lands a head kick!
Abbott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jae Sung sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Abbott connects with a solid leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abbott comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've been informed that Abbott has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Abbott walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jae Sung checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Abbott has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Abbott checks a leg kick.

Jae Sung wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Jae Sung goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Abbott has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jae Sung but great work by Abbott.

Abbott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brenden Abbott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Abbott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
