And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mikey Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferguson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Loster is just riding it out for now. Ferguson eventually gives up the hold.

Ferguson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Loster looks like he's trying to stand up.
Loster has hold of Ferguson's hands but Ferguson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Ferguson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Loster.

Loster tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Loster's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Loster misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ferguson! But no joy.
Ferguson misses with an uppercut.
Ferguson takes a swing at Loster's ribcage but misses.
Loster cracks Ferguson with a right hand to the side of the head.

Ferguson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ferguson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ferguson is looking to take a break and control but Loster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ferguson lands a nice forearm strike.
Loster wants to control but Ferguson postures up.
Loster is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ferguson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Loster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ferguson connects with a decent elbow.
Loster tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Ferguson easily slips into full mount!
Ferguson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferguson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Loster tries to hold on but Ferguson postures up.

Loster is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ferguson looking to secure an arm triangle but Loster defends it well.
Ferguson avoids the attempt from Loster to control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Loster is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ferguson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Loster takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ferguson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
