Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Melvin Rich! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rich manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Good on his heels. He'll look to pass Good's guard now, I'm sure. Rich thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Good wants to stand but Rich is controlling the position. Good has momentary wrist control but Rich slips an elbow through the middle. Rich postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Good is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rich, into his guard. Rich working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Good. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Good accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good won't allow Rich to sweep him here. Good is looking to work some ground and pound but Rich has wrist control. Rich is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Good frees his head nicely. Oh but Rich has switched to an armbar! Good is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
