The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
On Roids tries for a takedown but Michaels circles away easily
and Michaels counters with a good low kick that On Roids was not able to check.
Duke On Roids seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
On Roids throws a leg kick but Michaels checks it.
On Roids avoids the body shot from Michaels.
Michaels tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
On Roids takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Michaels ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

On Roids throws a series of punches but Michaels avoids them all with ease.

On Roids has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

On Roids throws a hook to the side of Michaels's head but Michaels sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
On Roids throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Michaels stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Michaels lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

On Roids tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Michaels swivels and escapes.
Michaels scores with a shot to the body.
Michaels moves out of range of the strikes.

On Roids goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Michaels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but On Roids moves away.
On Roids fails with a takedown attempt.
Karl Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duke On Roids.
On Roids throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Michaels was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
On Roids has his takedown stuffed
and Michaels makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Michaels takes a swing at On Roids's ribcage but misses.
On Roids throws a fast counter high kick but Michaels manages to duck under it in time.
On Roids throws an off balance right hand
and Michaels counters with a nice right hand that sends On Roids toppling to the canvas! On Roids scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Michaels finish him?!
On Roids is still on wobbly legs! Can Michaels finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Michaels lands a brutal uppercut that launches On Roids off his feet! On Roids tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
