Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shorty Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralph Osborn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shorty Carter! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osborn is looking to land body kicks. Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Osborn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd cheers as Osborn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carter doesn't seem phased though. Carter fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Osborn circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Osborn, pushing him back against the cage. Osborn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. Osborn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Carter tries to clinch and Osborn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Carter closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn tries to pull guard but Carter won't allow it.
Carter is trying to drag Osborn to the mat but Osborn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ralph Osborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shorty Carter. Osborn tries to pull guard but Carter won't allow it.
Osborn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
It looks like Ralph Osborn has been cut. Carter has hold of one of Osborn's legs. Osborn is fighting the takedown attempt but Carter gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carter prevents Osborn from getting back to his feet. Osborn working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Carter has passed into half guard!
Osborn looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Osborn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Carter decides to return to a standing position. Carter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Osborn seems a little lost for a moment, as Carter dominates the positioning.

Osborn is working to avoid the ground and pound but Carter connects with a decent elbow. Osborn pushes Carter away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Carter gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Osborn tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter scores with punches and elbows. Carter patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Carter is landing with strikes. Osborn can't take much more of this. Carter is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Osborn knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Osborn for a finish. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Osborn is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shorty Carter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ralph Osborn's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Carter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Carter looks to move away, Osborn throws a big counter combo bu Carter just gets out of the way. Carter fails with the takedown and Osborn counters with a stiff right hand. Nice takedown defense from Osborn. No joy for Carter on that attempt. Carter wants to clinch. A little feinted left hand from Osborn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter tries to clinch there but Osborn circles away.
Carter fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Osborn is out of range. Osborn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ralph Osborn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Osborn is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, Osborn circles away and we're back to standing. Osborn is looking to counter with head kicks. Ralph Osborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shorty Carter. Osborn tries to clinch there but Carter circles away.
Carter moves out of range as Osborn strikes. Carter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osborn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Carter has had enough of the clinch but Osborn keeps him there for the moment. Carter is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Carter tries to break free but Osborn pushes him back against the cage. Carter is trying to maintain a safe position but Osborn gets an underhook and turns Carter into the cage. Carter gets underhooks to prevent Osborn's takedown attempt.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Osborn tries to pull guard but Carter won't allow it.
Carter prevents a takedown attempt there.
Osborn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Osborn slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osborn throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Carter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Osborn's guard. Carter is breathing heavily. Carter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osborn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Osborn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carter defends it easily. Osborn looking for a sweep. Not yet Osborn, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to control from the top but Osborn keeps moving. Carter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Osborn keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carter gets in close and instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shorty Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ralph Osborn's cut. That's time! Osborn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Nice body kick there by Carter. Osborn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A shot to the liver by Carter. Beautiful body shot. Carter cracks the inside of Osborn's front leg. Osborn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter drives through with a takedown into guard. Osborn throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter trying to control but Osborn is working from the bottom. Carter tries to free his leg and advance position but Osborn is retaining full guard. Osborn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carter trying to control the position from guard on top but Osborn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Osborn being controlled here, momentarily. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Osborn wants to stand but Carter is controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Carter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Osborn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Osborn is wriggling around but Carter manages to pass to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to stand but Osborn has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Osborn keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully. Carter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Osborn has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Carter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Osborn. Osborn is not content to let Carter control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Osborn is trying to improve his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Osborn trying to remain calm as Carter controls from the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Shorty Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
