Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laercio Bezerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonny Karpecny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tonny Karpecny was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Laercio Bezerra ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tonny Karpecny! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bezerra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Karpecny's guard. Bezerra would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bezerra preventing the sweep. Karpecny has his hands on Bezerra 's head, controlling the position. Karpecny manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bezerra manages to get himself to full guard.
Karpecny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bezerra . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karpecny is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karpecny tries to stand but Bezerra is controlling from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bezerra is on top in guard.
Bezerra stops Karpecny from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bezerra stands up from guard. Let's bang! Karpecny slaps away a takedown attempt from Bezerra , before circling back to the center of the mat. Bezerra avoids the head kick by Karpecny.
Bezerra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Karpecny was covering up waiting for the punch and Bezerra finishes the takedown easily into guard. Karpecny wants to stand up but Bezerra is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bezerra trying to control but Karpecny is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karpecny can do anything to dispel that myth. Bezerra pushing down on Karpecny's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bezerra is figuring out what he wants to do next. Karpecny has his hands clasped together around Bezerra 's back. He's all about the action. Bezerra sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karpecny wants to get back to full guard but Bezerra has passed into side control. Karpecny wants to control but Bezerra postures up. Bezerra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Karpecny keeps working. Karpecny trying to control but Bezerra flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Bezerra trying to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bezerra wants to control but Karpecny manages to buck him off and is now in Bezerra 's guard! Nice work there by Karpecny! Bezerra is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bezerra keeping moving, preventing Karpecny from controlling successfully. Bezerra working for a triangle but Karpecny defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karpecny gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Laercio Bezerra dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bezerra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bezerra closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karpecny circles away. Bezerra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karpecny tries to avoid it but Bezerra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karpecny to the ground. Karpecny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karpecny throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Bezerra counters with a shoot takedown. Karpecny fights it but they end up in guard. Karpecny is controlling Bezerra 's posture. Karpecny working a defensive guard but Bezerra manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bezerra tries to stand but Karpecny is controlling his head. Karpecny is not content to let Bezerra control the position. Karpecny struggling a bit here. Karpecny is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bezerra 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Karpecny kicks Bezerra off and gets back to his feet. Bezerra throws a sloppy head kick and Karpecny moves out of range easily. Karpecny doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Bezerra darts in trying to clinch and Karpecny counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bezerra ! Karpecny controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karpecny working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karpecny stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bezerra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Karpecny is fending him off so far but Bezerra persists. Nope, Karpecny circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Laercio Bezerra . That's going to take a lot out of him. Bezerra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karpecny pinned against the cage. Karpecny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Laercio Bezerra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Karpecny misses with a body kick. Bezerra misses with a takedown attempt - Karpecny sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Karpecny fails with a takedown attempt. Bezerra is looking to counter punch. Karpecny fails in his attempt to clinch. Karpecny pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bezerra displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Karpecny. Karpecny dives in for a single leg takedown but Bezerra sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Karpecny throws a punch but it's blocked by Bezerra . Bezerra manages to pull guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bezerra is controlling Karpecny's posture. Karpecny wants to stand but Bezerra is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tonny Karpecny showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bezerra shoots for a takedown but Karpecny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Karpecny is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Laercio Bezerra . That's going to take a lot out of him. Bezerra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Karpecny has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bezerra is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Karpecny jumps guard but Bezerra stands there with Karpecny around his waist. Karpecny gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bezerra throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Karpecny looking to sit in guard and control but Bezerra gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bezerra trying to control the position from guard on top but Karpecny is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Karpecny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bezerra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bezerra wants to control from the top but Karpecny keeps moving. Karpecny is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bezerra is controlling him. Bezerra being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bezerra trying to control but Karpecny is working from the bottom. Bezerra wants to stand but Karpecny has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Karpecny fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Karpecny doesn't manage to clinch there - Bezerra circles away.
Bezerra seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Bezerra avoids the head kick by Karpecny.
Karpecny scores with a hook to the body. Bezerra takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bezerra tries for a takedown but Karpecny circles away easily and Karpecny counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Karpecny stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Bezerra tries to sprawl but Karpecny drives through with a takedown into half guard. Karpecny is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bezerra sees it coming and defends easily. Bezerra is looking to control Karpecny's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bezerra avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karpecny thows a huge punch but Bezerra dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Tonny Karpecny comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Karpecny has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
