Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edward Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Listerine Care (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edward Ryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Listerine Care! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Care lands a slapping body shot.
Ryan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ryan lands with a nice body punch. Ryan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ryan - that will leave a mark!
Ryan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Care at a distance.
Ryan thumps Care with a low kick. Care avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ryan misses with a combination
and Care counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Care swats him away and circles back towards the center. Care throws a counter combo. Care moves out of range of the strikes. Care ducks right into an uppercut from Ryan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Care fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryan. Care wants to get back to his feet but Ryan is dominant here and he's now got Care's back! Care should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Care is trying to get back to his feet but Ryan has full control of the position and if anything, Care has just worked his way into a worse spot. Oooh a big shot gets through from Ryan. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Care has eaten all the pies! Care is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Care manages to stand up with Ryan still on his back. Eventually Ryan drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Care fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Care or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryan, which made it look bad. Ryan looking to score a takedown here. Care is defending well but Ryan drives through and ends up in Care's guard. Care manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Ryan misses with a knee to the head. Care fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Care tries to break free but Ryan pushes him back against the cage. Ryan manages to break the clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Care there. A big right from Care misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Care. Edward Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Listerine Care.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Care circles away from the clinch attempt.
Care shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryan sprawls well. Ryan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Care gets slowly back to his feet. Ryan lands with a kick to the ribs.
Care swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ryan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Care shoots in for a takedown but Ryan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ryan misses with a series of wild punches.
Care let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Ryan lands a nice looking body kick. Care comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Care shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryan sprawls well. Ryan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Care gets slowly back to his feet. Ryan wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Care circles away from the clinch attempt.

Care fails with the takedown. Sloppy strikes from Care. Those never looked like landing. Care tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ryan was well out of range. Poor timing from Care. Ryan throws a counter high kick but Care was just alert enough to avoid it. Ryan misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Ryan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Care fails to land the takedown. Care gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Care lands a jab to the nose. Care will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Care is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ryan rather than just go for the knockout. Care avoids the head kick by Ryan.
Care now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Care paws at him with a jab and circles away. Care circles away from the clinch attempt.

Edward Ryan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Care is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryan is controlling him. Ryan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Care wants to get back to his feet but Ryan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ryan advances to half guard. Ryan working over Care with some ground and pound. Care looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Care manages to escape and get back to his feet! Care lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ryan at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Care will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ryan tries to clinch up. Care is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ryan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ryan takes a swing at Care's ribcage but misses. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Ryan wants to clinch up but Care keeps it at a distance. Care bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Care is breathing heavily. Ryan wants to get back to his feet but Care drags him back down. Ryan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Care wants to control but Ryan is keeping him busy. Care tries for a kimura but Ryan is defending well. Ryan is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ryan is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. You can see the frustration on Ryan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ryan stuffs the takedown attempt from Care. Care gets slowly back to his feet. Care shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ryan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ryan misses with a series of wild punches.
Edward Ryan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ryan connects with a leg kick. Care looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ryan misses with a two punch combination.
Ryan lands a head kick. Care smiles back at him and beckons him forward. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Edward Ryan will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Care fails with a takedown attempt. Ryan seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Ryan throws a nice looking combination but Care bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ryan stuffs the takedown attempt from Care. Care gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Care dodges the punch combination from Ryan.

Ryan tries to clinch but Care moves away and Care counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ryan throws a right hand that Care ducks under and follows up with a left that Care also avoids with ease. Ryan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ryan throws a wild body kick that Care sees coming a mile off. Listerine Care seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryan is looking to slow Care down with leg kicks. Ryan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ryan looks to land a combination but Care avoids it well. Care throws a counter combo. Care fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ryan avoids it really well and circles away. Edward Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Listerine Care.

Ryan lands a leg kick that knocks Care off balance momentarily. Ryan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Care dives in for a single leg takedown but Ryan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Care shoots in and drives through. Ryan sprawls well. Ryan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Care takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Care takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Care pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Horrible takedown attempt by Care or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryan, which made it look bad. A little feinted left hand from Ryan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ryan throws a leg kick which misses Care's front leg but catches the back leg as Care tries to avoid it. Care moves away from the strike by Ryan. Ryan lands with an uppercut that bounces Care off the cage and back into range. Care uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ryan. Ryan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Care has one foot on Ryan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Ryan throws a nice inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ryan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Care connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ryan momentarily.
Ryan misses with a body kick. Care shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Care has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ryan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Listerine Care has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Care misses with a hook from the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Care. Ryan takes a shot to the head. Ryan lands a right hand. Care tries to pull guard but Ryan holds him up against the cage and eventually Care drops back down to his feet.
Edward Ryan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Care misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Edward Ryan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ryan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
