Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milford Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milford Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Scott! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hunter moves into the clinch successfully.
Hunter stalling in the clinch but Scott improves position. Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hunter's head. Scott landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Scott trying to control the action but Hunter is working from the bottom. Scott missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to pass to mount but Hunter is defending the position. Scott throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Scott wants to stand up but Hunter has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter trying to control from the bottom.
Scott is looking to pass Hunter's guard but actually Hunter recovers to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter wants to stand and escape but Scott is having none of it. Scott loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hunter wants to control the position but Scott says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Scott thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Scott lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Scott lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter is not content to let Scott control the position. Hunter keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Scott wants to pass to mount but Hunter is defending the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hunter tries to sprawl but Scott drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hunter won't allow Scott to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is trying to maintain the position but Scott is very close to passing his half guard. Hunter keeping hold of Scott's head, controlling as best he can. Scott wants to control but Hunter is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hunter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Scott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hunter to the mat! Hunter manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter keeping full guard, as Scott tries to pass. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hunter controls Scott momentarily but Scott frees himself. Hunter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Scott stops Hunter from standing up. Scott working some strikes from top position. Hunter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hunter controlling Scott's posture. Scott throws a big elbow that misses.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Scott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hunter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hunter fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Scott throws a head kick but Hunter moves out of range.
Hunter attempts a counter takedown but Scott avoids it well and moves away. Hunter wants to clinch up but Scott keeps it at a distance. Scott fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hunter to the ground. Scott is now in Hunter's guard. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Scott works a leg free and moves into half guard. Still in half guard, Scott seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is trying to control the action in half guard but Hunter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Scott drops an elbow to the side of Hunter's head. Hunter desperately trying to maintain half guard. Hunter trying to hold on to Scott's head to control him but Scott postures up.
Scott passes the guard and advances to mount! Hunter can't escape the position.
Scott lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunter is looking to escape. Scott looking for a guillotine from mount but Hunter is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Scott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Scott lands with some strikes. Scott has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hunter's face.
Hunter is rocked! Scott looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hunter covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Scott!
