Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hal Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanchez Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sanchez Marquez!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez misses with a wild combination.
Little tries to counter by clinching up but Marquez breaks away and moves out of range.
Little avoids a punch combination nicely.

Marquez drops Little with a left and a right! Oh, Little is hurt - Marquez dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Hal Little has been cut.
Marquez in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marquez tries to get to his feet but Little is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Marquez in his guard.

Little working for a triangle but Marquez defends it easily.
Little might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Marquez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Little working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marquez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marquez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Little looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Little is trying to control the position but Marquez postures up.
Marquez wants to control from the top but Little keeps moving.
Marquez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Marquez wants to stand but Little has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Little tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marquez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Marquez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Little has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marquez has managed to get both his arms back between Little's legs - danger averted.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Little is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marquez defends well.
Marquez trying to control the position from guard on top but Little is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Little trying to keep a closed guard but Marquez is proving a slippery customer.
Little is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marquez pushes Little off looking to stand but Little dives back in and keeps control.

Marquez is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Little throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Little not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Little lands with a punch from half guard.
Little stops Marquez from getting back to his feet.
Little thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Little misses with a head shot. Marquez uses the momentum to regain guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Little throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Marquez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Marquez!

Marquez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Little wants to improve his position but Marquez is controlling well.
Marquez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Marquez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Little does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanchez Marquez dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hal Little's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Little tries to sprawl but Marquez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Marquez trying to control the action but Little is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Little is looking to improve his position.
Marquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Little keeps working.
Little won't allow Marquez to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marquez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Marquez is thwarting Little's attempts to control the position.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Marquez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Marquez lands with a shot to the body.
Little really is a fat lump.
Marquez works over Little's head and body with a nice combination.
Marquez cracks Little with a right hand to the side of the head.
Marquez lands a right hook to the body.
No joy there for Marquez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Little misses with a takedown attempt - Marquez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Marquez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marquez is breathing heavily.
Little is trying to control the position but Marquez postures up.
Marquez sitting in guard here, content to control.

Little escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Little controls Marquez momentarily but Marquez frees himself.

Little is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Marquez frees his head nicely. Oh but Little has switched to an armbar! Marquez is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Hal Little!
