Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley misses with a combination
and Durham counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Daley wants to sweep here but Durham controlling him for the moment.

Durham thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Durham is in close to Daley's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Durham stands up over Daley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Durham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Durham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Daley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Durham on the ground.
Daley wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Durham is now in half guard.
Durham lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Durham lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Durham connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Durham postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Daley looks a forlorn figure.
Durham cracks Daley with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Durham!
