Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juan Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Shutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes into the arena with Welcome To The Jungle blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Juan Edwards has been cut.
Edwards feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Shutton wants to stand up but Edwards is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Edwards will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Shutton is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Edwards dives into side control.
Edwards has an Americana. Shutton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Edwards is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Edwards hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
