The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leeuw throws a half hearted mid kick.
The fighters circling - Drake throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Drake takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
De Leeuw throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

De Leeuw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Drake throws out the jab.

A slapping leg kick lands for De Leeuw .
Drake on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
De Leeuw pushes Drake away with a front kick.
De Leeuw cracks the inside of Drake's front leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drake connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Drake is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

De Leeuw tries a body shot but Drake blocks it.

Drake pushes De Leeuw against the cage. Drake is working some dirty boxing. Drake pushes off with a quick right hook! De Leeuw goes down! De Leeuw tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Drake moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
