Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Gregorivich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Galvao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregorivich comes to the cage accompanied by The Pot. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Gregorivich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Galvao! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galvao closes the distance and clinches up with Gregorivich, looking for a takedown. Galvao pushes Gregorivich against the cage but Gregorivich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gregorivich changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Galvao looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Galvao manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gregorivich's best efforts. Galvao is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gregorivich's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gregorivich's back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Galvao's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

The fighters are battling for position here. Gregorivich manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Galvao is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Galvao preventing the sweep. Gregorivich keeping moving, preventing Galvao from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregorivich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Galvao is one step ahead there. Galvao wants to pass the guard but Gregorivich is keeping the position. Galvao trying to control the position from guard on top but Gregorivich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gregorivich is on top in guard.
Gregorivich drops back looking for a leg! Galvao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Galvao manages to kick Gregorivich off! Gregorivich jumps back into Galvao's guard. Gregorivich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Galvao looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gregorivich is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gregorivich passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gregorivich working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gregorivich trying to control the position but Galvao is working away. Galvao parries the strikes from Gregorivich easily there. Gregorivich is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Galvao to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gregorivich works to advance to full mount. Galvao defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Galvao wants to hold on but Gregorivich pushes him away. Gregorivich wants to finish this one by submission but Galvao is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gregorivich.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregorivich wants to control the pace but Galvao is squirming around nicely. Gregorivich has control of Galvao's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Galvao regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Galvao tries to hold on but Gregorivich pushes him away. Galvao tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gregorivich looking to control but Galvao is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Galvao is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gregorivich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nice shot lands for Gregorivich. Gregorivich takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gregorivich lands a right hook to the body.
Gregorivich tries to clinch but Galvao moves out of range. Galvao blocks a jab. Victor Gregorivich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gregorivich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Galvao swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gregorivich scores with a jab to the body. Gregorivich misses with a takedown attempt and Galvao counters with a slapping leg kick. Gregorivich tries to clinch but Galvao moves away and Galvao counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gregorivich seems keen to control Galvao's posture. Galvao passes Gregorivich's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gregorivich is pressing down on Galvao's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gregorivich throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Galvao wants to control from the top but Gregorivich keeps moving. Gregorivich looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Galvao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gregorivich keeping moving, preventing Galvao from controlling successfully. Victor Gregorivich dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Gregorivich looks to clinch and Galvao counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Victor Gregorivich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gregorivich wants to clinch but Galvao slips to the side and Galvao counters with a takedown into side control. Galvao is trying to get an arm triangle but Gregorivich is defending well. Galvao is looking to take a break and control but Gregorivich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gregorivich sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gregorivich lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Galvao! Galvao is in all sorts of trouble here.

Gregorivich is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Galvao is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Gregorivich had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Galvao is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gregorivich Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Galvao's back instead. Galvao trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Gregorivich looking for the choke from the back. Gregorivich trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Gregorivich is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Galvao knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Galvao for a finish. Galvao rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Victor Gregorivich overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gregorivich is working Galvao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Gregorivich trying to control the position from guard on top but Galvao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gregorivich slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gregorivich working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Galvao is not content to let Gregorivich control the position. Anderson Galvao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Galvao struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gregorivich thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gregorivich tries to move to mount but Galvao blocks the move with his legs. Galvao is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gregorivich laying and praying for a moment but Galvao takes advantage and regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Galvao wants to improve his position but Gregorivich is controlling well.

And that's the end of the fight! Victor Gregorivich showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gregorivich has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
