Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan Fury!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fury shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fury throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fury fails to land the takedown.
A cross from Silva lands.
Fury fails with the takedown.
Silva is looking to counter punch.
Karl Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Fury.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fury to the mat! Fury manages to get full guard.
Silva works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fury is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fury with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Silva sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fury defending well though.
Fury felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fury can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fury wants to control but Silva is keeping busy.
Fury tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
Silva slips a nice elbow through Fury's hands, connecting with Fury's forehead.
Fury is trying to get back to full guard.

Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fury could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silva has cracked it and Fury is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silva !
