Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Costa Ioannou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Whitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitman has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Ioannou has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Costa Ioannou had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitman drops Ioannou with a beautiful combination! Ioannou stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Whitman is looking for the KO!
Ioannou walks straight into a right hand from Whitman - that's dropped him! Whitman jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ioannou from any more punishment! Ioannou complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Charles Whitman!
