Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Niel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grayson Crakehall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crakehall throws a body shot but no joy.
Niel throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Crakehall misses with a straight left.
Niel scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Niel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Niel leaves Crakehall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Niel throws a shot to the body.
Crakehall dives in for a single leg takedown but Niel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Niel is looking to counter with a body kick.
Niel thuds his shin into the meat of Crakehall's side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Niel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Crakehall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Crakehall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Niel counters with a nice body kick.

Crakehall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Niel to score with a decent uppercut.

Crakehall swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Niel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Niel is looking to slow Crakehall down with leg kicks.
Crakehall throws a sloppy body shot
and Niel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tyson Niel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Niel connects with an inside leg kick.
Crakehall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Crakehall tries to advance to mount but Niel denies him.
Niel dodges the ground and pound from Crakehall.
Niel can't do much from the bottom here.
Crakehall works to advance to full mount. Niel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Crakehall lands with some strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crakehall cracks Niel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Crakehall misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Crakehall avoids the attempt from Niel to control.

Niel tries to hold on but Crakehall pushes him away.

Crakehall throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crakehall unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Niel wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Crakehall celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
