The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Moore's guard.
Brown throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brown looking to improve position, pressing down on Moore's thigh with his hand. Moore seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Brown paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Brown's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Moore picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
