Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place. Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher and Bruce Lee. Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dragonfly by Shaman's Harvest. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bruce Lee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
41 - 22 - 4, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher misses with a few strikes there.
Lee has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fisher is landing a low percentage of strikes. A head kick misses from Fisher. Fisher throws a head kick that misses. The crowd cheers as Lee lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fisher doesn't seem phased though. Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Fisher is just out of range. Fisher takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice shot by Lee. Fisher slips under a jab from Lee. Fisher takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Good leg kick by Lee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Danga de danga de dang - Fisher scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Bruce Lee has been cut. Lee checks the leg kick. Lee moves out of range of the body kick from Fisher.

John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fisher misses with a two punch combination.
Fisher walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fisher. Lee lands with a straight right. Fisher didn't see that one coming. A jab from Lee finds it's way through Fisher's defenses. Fisher takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Lee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Fisher on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fisher throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Fisher bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Fisher. Good leg kick by Fisher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee throws out a counter right but Fisher avoids it with no problem. Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fisher, pushing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee prevents Fisher from breaking the clinch. Lee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Lee tries to throw a body punch but Fisher avoids it by throwing Lee back against the cage. Fisher is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Lee.
Lee lands a body punch in the clinch. Lee holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Lee works on Fisher's body with a couple of short punches. Fisher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fisher throws a combination. Lee tries to block but a couple of punches get through. No joy there for Fisher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lee cracks Fisher with a good jab. Fisher misses with a double jab
and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Lee cracks Fisher with a right hand to the side of the head. Lee throws a head kick but Fisher moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee unleashes a big counter combination but Fisher bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Fisher goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Fisher is looking to land body kicks. Lee blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Lee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fisher. Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fisher throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lee counters with a left to the body. Lee blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Lee looks to land a combination. Fisher sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee throws a quick inside leg kick. Lee connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fisher takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fisher is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Fisher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fisher connects with a nice looking jab.
Fisher seems to have got his legs back now. Fisher pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A bone on bone clash there as Lee blocks the leg kick.
Fisher is looking to land body kicks. Lee blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Lee lands with a good body shot. Fisher is breathing heavily. Fisher has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Fisher's head. Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee avoids the head kick by Fisher.
Fisher throws a head kick that misses. Lee darts in and clinches Fisher up against the cage. Lee lands a body shot. Lee misses with a shot to the kidneys.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Lee dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fisher gets off balance looking for a body kick and Lee counters with a thumping low kick. Bruce Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lee throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Lee scores with a one two! Fisher had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nice body punch from Lee. Lee drives through and clinches with Fisher against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Fisher is looking to break free of the clinch but Lee has double underhooks. Lee makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fisher tries to land knees in the clinch but Lee avoids the damage to the body. Lee breaks from the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lee!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fisher takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Fisher looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Lee blocks the body kick.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lee scores with a jab. Fisher acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Fisher misses with a kick to the body and Lee counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A right-left combo lands from Lee. Lee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A nice combination there by Lee.
Lee pounces like a tiger and cracks Fisher with a vicious hook! Fisher is down but not out! Lee follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bruce Lee! Bruce Lee decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
