Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rookie Amateur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadek Rzeznik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rookie Amateur has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rookie Amateur seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amateur misses with a body shot.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rzeznik has eaten all the pies!
Rzeznik uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Amateur.
Rzeznik on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Amateur lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rzeznik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Amateur cracks Rzeznik with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rzeznik misses with a takedown attempt
and Amateur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rzeznik drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rzeznik trying to control but Amateur is working from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rzeznik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amateur swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rzeznik won't allow Amateur to sweep him here.
Rzeznik slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rzeznik trying to control the position from guard on top but Amateur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rzeznik darts in looking for a takedown but Amateur gets double underhooks and turns Rzeznik into the cage.
Amateur slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rzeznik doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Amateur counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rookie Amateur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tadek Rzeznik.
Amateur lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rzeznik gets a takedown into half guard.
Amateur keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Rzeznik tries to pass to full mount but Amateur defends it.
Rzeznik perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Amateur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rzeznik seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Amateur holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rzeznik wants to work for an arm triangle but Amateur is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rzeznik passes the guard and advances to mount!
Amateur has given up his back.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Rzeznik's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rzeznik has managed to slip his arm under Amateur's chin. This could be all over... yep, Amateur is tapping out! Submission win for Rzeznik.
