Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sture Snorre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raven Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raven Black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sture Snorre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raven Black!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snorre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Black drives through and clinches with Snorre against the cage.
Black's coach down at Midnight MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Black's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Black tries a knee to the head but Snorre blocks it.
Snorre is trying to force a seperation but Black has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snorre wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Raven Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black darts in and clinches Snorre up against the cage.

Snorre throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Black tries to land a knee to the head but Snorre blocks with his arms.

Snorre closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Black's guard.
Snorre stands up and waves to Black to follow him.
Snorre throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.
Black is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Snorre looks for a takedown but Black sprawls well.

Snorre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snorre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Black moves away.
Snorre shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Snorre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Snorre misses with a jab, cross combination.

Snorre looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.

Snorre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Despite the aggression on Black's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Black displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Snorre.

Snorre swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Black.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Snorre dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Snorre's head and hops out.
Black unleashes a big counter combination but Snorre bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch but Snorre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Snorre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sture Snorre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snorre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Black back to the cage. Snorre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Snorre lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sture Snorre is winning the standup battle so far.
Black gets caught napping as Snorre dives in and scores a takedown. Black manages to retain guard.
Snorre wants to stand but Black has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Snorre is looking to work some ground and pound but Black has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is breathing heavily.
Snorre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Snorre passes Black's left leg - he's now in half guard.
It looks like Snorre is going to stand back up.
Snorre is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Black!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Snorre fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Snorre has control of Black's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Black regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Snorre can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Black is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snorre is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Black is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Black is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Snorre throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Black because Snorre loaded up on that one.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Black holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Snorre tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Snorre trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Snorre lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Black hang on?

Sture Snorre dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Black takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Snorre lands a big head kick that sends Black tumbling to the mat! Snorre takes a step backwards and waves Black back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Black is still on wobbly legs! Can Snorre finish him?
Snorre rushes Black and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Snorre manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Snorre uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Snorre lands with a good body shot.
Snorre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Black can do to turn this around?
Snorre with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Black crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snorre - the referee stops the clock and Black gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snorre. Black manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Snorre throws a monster overhand right that drops Black! Snorre follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sture Snorre!
