Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noc Turne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Rinaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noc Turne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luca Rinaldi! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rinaldi's waist but Rinaldi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turne off to one side. Turne has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rinaldi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Turne on his heels. He'll look to pass Turne's guard now, I'm sure. Rinaldi lands a couple of digs. Rinaldi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Turne looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rinaldi passes into side control.
Rinaldi lands a decent elbow from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turne pushes Rinaldi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rinaldi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Turne is looking for a sweep. Rinaldi staying calm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turne is trying to improve his position. Rinaldi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Rinaldi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turne keeps working. Turne sneaks back into half guard. Turne looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rinaldi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turne is just riding it out for now. Rinaldi eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rinaldi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turne does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rinaldi trying to control the pace. Turne is in trouble now - Rinaldi has advanced to mount! Rinaldi looking to control but Turne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Turne is looking to improve his position but Rinaldi isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turne is working hard here to advance position. Turne sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Rinaldi prevents Turne from standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rinaldi scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Turne looking for submissions off his back. Turne gets full guard. Turne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rinaldi controls the pace. Turne throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rinaldi uses it to pass to side control.
Turne tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rinaldi presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Rinaldi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's five minutes gone in the round. It looks like Rinaldi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Rinaldi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Turne can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Turne is desperately trying to improve his position but Rinaldi has a good base and remains in mount. Rinaldi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Turne can't escape the position.
Rinaldi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rinaldi putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Turne is trying to escape the mount.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Rinaldi wants to control the pace but Turne is squirming around nicely. Turne working to try and regain half guard.
Rinaldi with a couple of short strikes. Turne taking shots to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rinaldi lands with some strikes. Turne is squirming around, avoiding Rinaldi's attempts to control the action. Turne is trying desperately to improve position.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Rinaldi looking to control but Turne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rinaldi working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Turne is rocked! Turne is looking to improve his position but Rinaldi isn't that keen on the idea. Oh Turne is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee warns Turne that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rinaldi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Turne bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Rinaldi and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luca Rinaldi!
