Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Milpid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milpid has chosen Stupify as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara loads up on a big right hand but Milpid slips the punch.
Milpid checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Milpid with the counter takedown but Aybara avoids it easily.
Aybara tries to land a leg kick but Milpid saw it coming and moves away.
Aybara throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Milpid on the side of the head.
Aybara takes a swing at Milpid's ribcage but misses.
Milpid feints the counter takedown.
Aybara throws a lazy right hand but Milpid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Milpid shoots for a double leg takedown but Aybara sprawls well. He's pushed Milpid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Milpid wants to work for an arm triangle but Aybara is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Our spies down at at Elite Fighting Temple inform us that Milpid has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Aybara is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Milpid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Aybara.

Milpid is still in real trouble! Can Aybara finish him?
Milpid takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
