Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freedom's entrance music is Star Spangled Banner. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 29 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chip Freedom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Rojas! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rojas clinches. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Freedom tries to stall but Rojas uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Freedom is defending well against a takedown attempt. Rojas is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Freedom cracks Rojas with a nice body shot. Rojas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Freedom is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Chip Freedom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Rojas. Rojas takes a knee to the side of the body. Freedom is trying to stall.
Freedom scores with a nice hook to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rojas goes for a takedown attempt but Freedom pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Freedom scores with a head kick.
Rojas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Freedom, pushing him back against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knees in the clinch landing for Freedom.
Freedom with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Rojas tries for a takedown but Freedom manages to get underhooks.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Freedom obliges. Rojas looks winded! Freedom has Rojas pushed against the ropes. The referee is keeping an eye on Freedom - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Freedom gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Freedom controlling the action here for a moment.
Rojas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Freedom gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Freedom softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rojas takes a knee right on the jaw!
Freedom scores with a hook to the body. Freedom with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Rojas is rocked! Freedom lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rojas backwards. Rojas is still on wobbly legs! Can Freedom finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Freedom is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Freedom is struggling to control the position. Freedom seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Freedom creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rojas's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rojas drops to his knees and Freedom pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chip Freedom! After winning the bout, Chip Freedom thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
