The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bubba goes for a double leg but Douglas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Douglas continues to drive forward.
Douglas appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Douglas darts in looking for a takedown but Bubba gets double underhooks and turns Douglas into the ropes.
Douglas closes the distance and clinches.
Douglas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bubba's elbow.
Douglas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bubba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bubba bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
