Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Atoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar fails to land the takedown. Atoya clinches up with Lesnar and pushes him back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Atoya scores with a nice short uppercut. Atoya is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lesnar is defending well for now. Atoya cracks Lesnar with a nice body shot. Lesnar is looking to break free of the clinch but Atoya has double underhooks. Atoya cracks Lesnar with a nice body shot. Lesnar looks winded! Atoya lands a shoulder strike. Atoya is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atoya misses with a knee strike.

Atoya lands a hook that snaps the head of Lesnar backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Atoya lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Atoya lands a shot to the body. Our sources have told us that Atoya has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. A short right from Atoya on the inside. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Atoya takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Atoya tries for a takedown. No joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar stands up from Atoya's guard - Lesnar perhaps looking for a knockout. Atoya takes the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atoya lands a nice shot to the body. Atoya utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Atoya lands with a right to the head. Atoya unloads a knee to the mid-section. Atoya fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Atoya drops Lesnar with a big knee straight up the middle! Lesnar is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Lesnar is rocked!
It looks like Dick Lesnar has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Atoya has Lesnar up against the cage in a clinch.
Lesnar is still on wobbly legs! Can Atoya finish him? Atoya creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lesnar's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lesnar drops to his knees and Atoya pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
