Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rico Sauve by Girardo. Durden has chosen Monster as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chavo circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Durden or perhaps it was just good defense by Chavo, which made it look bad.

We've been hearing good reports from Chavo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Durden has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chavo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Durden.
