Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhelin Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gimme Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Money for Nothing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gimme Money will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zhelin Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gimme Money! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money closes the distance and clinches. Money pushes off an throws an elbow but Li leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Li blocks an elbow strike. Li fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Li stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Money misses with the head strike.
Li jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Money wants to stand but Li has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Li is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Money has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cylon Training Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Money trying to stand up but can't free himself from Li's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li seems keen to control Money's posture. Money wants to get up but he can't break Li's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Money being controlled here momentarily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Li uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Money. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Money gets in close and instigates a clinch. Li successfully pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Money being controlled here momentarily. Li has a closed guard, preventing Money from standing up. Money drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Money jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Money slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Money tries to stand but Li is controlling his head. Li is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Li is trying to control Money's posture but Money avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li is looking for a sweep. Money tries to stand but Li is controlling his head. Li is holding Money down, trying to stall. Li wants to control but Money postures up. Money stands up and beckons Li to his feet. Li looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Li looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Money tries to roll over but Li keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Money is trying to stand up here but Li is controlling him well. Li is looking for a kimura here.
Money is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Li is looking for a kimura here.
Li is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Money doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Li. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zhelin Li will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Li will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Money rushes Li and presses him up against the cage. Li takes an elbow to the temple. Money's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Money clinches up with Li and pushes him back against the cage. Money looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Li tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Money scores with an uppercut up the middle. Money tries to throw a body punch but Li avoids it by throwing Money back against the cage. Li is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Money to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhelin Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li is trying to pull guard but Money turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Li pulls guard effortlessly. Li has a closed guard, preventing Money from standing up. Li is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Money defends well. Money has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Li is proving hard to escape from. Money is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Zhelin Li overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Money wants to stand but Li is controlling his posture from full guard. Money trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Li pulls Money in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Money connects with a leg kick. Li looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Money tries to clinch up but Li circles away and keeps his distance. Money forces Li back against the cage and clinches. Money looking to throw knees to the head but Li is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Money is defending well against a takedown attempt. Money has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Money tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Li's elbow. Li tries to pull guard but Money won't allow it.

Li gets control of Money's arms and successfully pulls guard. Li will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Money controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Li bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Money's guard.
Money is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Money wants to stand and escape but Li is having none of it. Money working for a triangle but Li defends it easily.
Li sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Money's guard. Li lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Money does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Li is working for a kimura but Money is defending it quite comfortably.
Li prevents Money from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Money wants to get back to his feet. Money looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Li wants to work for an arm triangle but Money is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Li is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Money is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zhelin Li! Gimme Money spoke after the fight, saying 'That's gonna cost me a pretty penny.'.
