Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Lockyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Folignus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Folignus has chosen Laces Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Lockyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Folignus! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockyer rushes Folignus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Folignus looking to slow down the pace here. Folignus misses with a punch on the inside.
Folignus lands with a left to the head. Lockyer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Folignus blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lockyer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Folignus's efforts to push away. Folignus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Folignus misses with a punch to the body.
Lockyer misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A short left from Folignus. Folignus is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lockyer. Lockyer swings wildly with an uppercut but Folignus uses good head movement to avoid it. A head punch on the inside from Folignus fails to land. Lockyer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lockyer tries to break free but Folignus pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Folignus throws a head punch that misses. Lockyer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Folignus's elbow. Lockyer has Folignus pressed against the cage.
Nice body punch from Lockyer. Folignus manages to pull guard.
Lockyer preventing the sweep. Lockyer is looking to stand up but Folignus won't let him. Lockyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Folignus wants to sweep here but Lockyer controlling him for the moment. Lockyer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Folignus's guard. Lockyer being controlled here momentarily. Folignus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lockyer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lockyer stopping the sweep attempt from Folignus.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lockyer wants to stand but Folignus has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lockyer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lockyer wants to stand but Folignus is controlling his posture from full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Folignus is on top in guard.
Folignus engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lockyer is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Hey Steve's Fight Shack that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Folignus passes Lockyer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lockyer is staying active underneath Folignus, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Folignus keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Folignus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Folignus is working for a submission of some sort.
Lockyer is doing well to control the position and prevent Folignus from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lockyer is trying to stand up here but Folignus is controlling him well. Folignus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lockyer defending well though. Folignus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Folignus stops Lockyer from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Folignus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lockyer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lockyer throws a hook but Folignus blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Folignus dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lockyer blocks a head kick by Folignus.
A big left from Folignus misses. Lockyer misses with a lunging right hand
and Folignus counters with an inside leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Folignus, right into the meat.
Lockyer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lockyer lands a body shot.
Lockyer throws out a loose jab but Folignus uses good head movement to avoid it. Folignus is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lockyer with a body shot. A punch combination from Folignus misses. Some wild striking there from Lockyer.
Folignus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Folignus scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Lockyer throws a body punch but Folignus moves out of range. Folignus connects with a leg kick. Lockyer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Lockyer thuds a left hand into Folignus's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Lockyer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Folignus in his tracks.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Lockyer is predictable there and Folignus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lockyer looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Folignus moves into range and connects with a jab. Folignus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lockyer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Folignus is rocked! Folignus throws a chopping leg kick but Lockyer manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lockyer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Folignus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Darren Lockyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A nice leg kick lands there from Folignus. Folignus takes a jab right on the kisser.
Folignus is still on wobbly legs! Can Lockyer finish him? Folignus moves out of range as Lockyer strikes. Lockyer moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromFolignus. Folignus finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Lockyer's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Folignus falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Lockyer! Darren Lockyer decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
