Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Sainsburys! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sainsburys swats away the attempt to clinch by Coleman. Coleman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sainsburys but Sainsburys pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sainsburys looks like he wants to counter punch here. Coleman tries to work over Sainsburys's front leg with a kick but Sainsburys checks it. Sainsburys throws out a counter right but Coleman avoids it with no problem. Sainsburys throws a lazy uppercut
and Coleman counters with a single leg into guard. Sainsburys didn't expect that. Sainsburys is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coleman is controlling him. Coleman works a leg free and moves into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman stalling. Sainsburys is staying active underneath Coleman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sainsburys is looking to escape. Coleman thows a huge punch but Sainsburys dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sainsburys sizes up Coleman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sainsburys jabbing away but nothing is landing. A decent looking cross lands there for Sainsburys. Sainsburys throws a hook but Coleman avoids it easily. Coleman fails with the takedown and Sainsburys counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A slow jab from Sainsburys misses its intended target. Sainsburys fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sainsburys throws a jab but it's blocked by Coleman. As Sainsburys tries to get set, Coleman tries to push him back and clinch up but Sainsburys manages to avoid the attempt. A slow jab from Sainsburys misses its intended target. Coleman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Coleman staying out of range there. Sainsburys leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sainsburys defends it nicely. Coleman is breathing heavily. Coleman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sainsburys. Coleman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sainsburys. Erik Sainsburys is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sainsburys misses with a looping right. Sainsburys might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sainsburys takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses. Coleman shoots and misses and Sainsburys cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Sean Coleman has been cut. Sainsburys scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sainsburys. Sainsburys punishes Coleman's body with a nice straight punch. Coleman walks into a straight right hand from Sainsburys. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Sainsburys engages and cracks Coleman with a massive lead left hook - Coleman tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Sainsburys is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
