Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Cornwall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aidan Kincaid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Cornwall!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid keeps the fight on the outside.
Some wild striking there from Cornwall.
Kincaid cracks Cornwall with a good jab.
Kincaid lands with a nice body punch.

Kincaid gets a clinch.
Cornwall goes for a takedown attempt but Kincaid pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kincaid lunges at Cornwall with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cornwall's hand.
Cornwall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kincaid to score with a decent uppercut.
Cornwall throws the left hand but Kincaid avoids the punch easily.
Kincaid swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cornwall shoots in and drives through. Kincaid sprawls well.
Cornwall moves away from the strike by Kincaid.

Cornwall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Aidan Kincaid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Cornwall.

Cornwall uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kincaid.
Aidan Kincaid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kincaid drives through and clinches with Cornwall against the cage.
Cornwall jumps guard but Kincaid stands there with Cornwall around his waist. Cornwall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cornwall gets control of Kincaid's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cornwall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kincaid avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cornwall had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kincaid is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cornwall Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kincaid's back instead.
Kincaid rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Cornwall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kincaid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cornwall.

Kincaid rushes Cornwall and presses him up against the cage.

Kincaid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Aidan Kincaid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cornwall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kincaid as he jumps to the side.

Kincaid fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cornwall, pushing him back against the cage.

Kincaid wants to break free but Cornwall has control.
Cornwall keeps control of Kincaid as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kincaid lands a shoulder strike.
Kincaid wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kincaid wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cornwall tries to pull guard but Kincaid holds him up against the cage and eventually Cornwall drops back down to his feet.
Cornwall is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kincaid gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kincaid blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kincaid wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cornwall has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cornwall jumps guard but Kincaid stands there with Cornwall around his waist. Cornwall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Cornwall counters with a shoot takedown. Kincaid fights it but they end up in guard.

Cornwall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cornwall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cornwall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kincaid manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cornwall has Kincaid in his guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kincaid in particular looking to stall.
Kincaid wants to stand up but Cornwall has a hold of him and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cornwall shoots for a double leg takedown but Kincaid sprawls well. He's pushed Cornwall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cornwall takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Cornwall drops back looking for a leg! Kincaid is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kincaid manages to kick Cornwall off! Cornwall jumps back into Kincaid's guard.
Ken Cornwall has got the better of the ground game so far.

Cornwall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kincaid looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kincaid looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kincaid!

The referee warns Cornwall that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ken Cornwall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Kincaid lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cornwall backwards.
The is referee keeping an eye on Kincaid - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kincaid lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Kincaid.
Kincaid wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
