Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Te Rauparaha!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kimura is defended easily by Rauparaha.
Despite the aggression on Rauparaha's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Kimura closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Donk. Rauparaha catches Kimura right on the button with a cross.
Kimura darts in looking for a takedown but Rauparaha gets double underhooks and turns Kimura into the cage.
Rauparaha lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kimura is rocked!
Kimura misses with a takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Oh Kimura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Kimura. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rauparaha throws an overhand right that has Kimura reeling! Rauparaha follows up with more punches and Kimura is out cold! This one is all over!
