Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chad Shiverdecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison has chosen Crossed - So much pain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chad Shiverdecker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aidan Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shiverdecker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harrison, pushing him back against the cage.

Shiverdecker has Harrison pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Shiverdecker pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Harrison tumbling to the mat - Shiverdecker dives into Harrison's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shiverdecker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Harrison is looking to sweep but instead, Shiverdecker has passed into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harrison wants to sweep but Shiverdecker has passed to side control!

Harrison takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Harrison is trying to improve his position.
Shiverdecker working away.

Shiverdecker decides to stand back up.
Harrison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shiverdecker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.

Shiverdecker pushes Harrison up against the cage in a clinch.

Harrison pushes off an throws an elbow but Shiverdecker leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Shiverdecker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Harrison clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Shiverdecker is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Harrison is defending well though. Shiverdecker let's go of the attempt for now.

Shiverdecker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shiverdecker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shiverdecker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A slow jab from Harrison misses its intended target.

Harrison is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shiverdecker gets his way!
Harrison is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Harrison tries to buck Shiverdecker off but Shiverdecker is having none of it.

Harrison avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Shiverdecker.
Shiverdecker just content to control the position.
Shiverdecker in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Shiverdecker throws some wild stikes that Harrison manages to avoid easily.

Shiverdecker stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Chad Shiverdecker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harrison throws a body shot but no joy.
Chad Shiverdecker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shiverdecker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harrison swivels and escapes.

Shiverdecker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harrison's guard.

Aidan Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shiverdecker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Shiverdecker shoots in for a takedown but Harrison shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Chad Shiverdecker showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shiverdecker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
