Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morano Romanov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reilly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Reilly thinks about countering with a head kick. Romanov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Reilly did well to prevent Romanov getting side control. Romanov wants to pass the guard but Reilly is defending well. Reilly wants to improve his position but Romanov is controlling well.
Reilly has hold of Romanov's hands but Romanov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Romanov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Romanov is thwarting Reilly's attempts to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reilly is controlling Romanov's position as best he can from this difficult position. Reilly trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romanov seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Romanov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Romanov wants to stand up but Reilly has a hold of him and won't allow it. Romanov passes to side control. Romanov stands up. Romanov gets the takedown into side control. Romanov controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reilly tries to bench press Romanov off him but Romanov keeps the position. Romanov controls the position from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romanov creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Romanov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Romanov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reilly is looking for a sweep. Romanov scores with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Romanov scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Romanov controlling from mount. Reilly tries to hold on but Romanov pushes him away. Romanov fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Reilly is wriggling around trying to escape.
Romanov breaks from Reilly's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Reilly is rocked! Romanov cracks Reilly with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morano Romanov!
