Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyry Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Stefans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perkele comes to the cage accompanied by Perkele . Ted Stefans acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Pyry Perkele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Stefans! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stefans misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Perkele definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Perkele is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perkele pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stefans is out of range and Perkele settles back down. Stefans keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Stefans throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perkele throws a low kick, looking for Stefans's leg but Stefans calmly moves out of range. Perkele uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stefans. Stefans throws an overhand right that lands on Perkele's shoulder, as Perkele tries to avoid the shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Perkele. Perkele does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Stefans bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Perkele slips a jab from Stefans. Stefans jabs Perkele right on the nose. Perkele blinks but takes it well. Perkele tries to work over Stefans's front leg with a kick but Stefans checks it. Stefans looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Perkele, right into the meat.
Stefans connects with a solid leg kick. Perkele throws a head kick that misses. Perkele avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stefans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perkele manages to avoid it. Pyry Perkele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A kick lands to the mid section there for Stefans. Perkele turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Stefans tries to clinch up. Perkele swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Stefans with a body punch. A glancing blow. Perkele on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Stefans throws a hook to the side of Perkele's head but Perkele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stefans throws a big shot that misses. Stefans bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Perkele lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Perkele finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stefans lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Perkele misses with a body kick. Perkele thuds a left hand into Stefans's body. Perkele lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stefans at a distance.
Perkele tries a low kick but Stefans avoids it. Perkele throws out a leg kick but Stefans moves out of range and Perkele only half commits. Stefans throws a sloppy head kick and Perkele moves out of range easily. Perkele is looking to slow Stefans down with leg kicks. Stefans takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stefans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stefans scores with a kick to the body.
Perkele slips a straight right by Stefans. Perkele swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stefans. A punch lands to the side of Stefans 's head but he takes it in his stride. Perkele fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stefans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Perkele fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stefans throws a hook but Perkele blocks it. Stefans tries a low kick but Perkele avoids it. Stefans needs to keep his hands up - Perkele had a free shot at his head there. Perkele throws an overhand right that lands on Stefans's shoulder, as Stefans tries to avoid the shot. Perkele thows a leg kick but Stefans checks it and Stefans counters with a nice low kick that buckles Perkele's knee momentarily. Perkele rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stefans moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stefans looks like he wants to counter punch here. Perkele looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Perkele misses with a wild body shot. Stefans looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Perkele misses with a low kick.
Perkele paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Stefans lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A good leg kick by Perkele. Perkele throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Stefans throws a fast counter high kick but Perkele manages to duck under it in time. Stefans connects with a jab. A good leg kick by Stefans. This has been an exciting period of action! Stefans swings for the body but Perkele moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perkele throws a sloppy head kick and Stefans moves out of range easily. Stefans misses the jab. Stefans checks the leg kick. Stefans attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Perkele was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Perkele pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Perkele moves out of range of the body kick. Stefans cracks Perkele with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Perkele is rocked! Stefans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perkele paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stefans missing with a left hand there. Perkele was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stefans throws a poor cross that misses
and Perkele counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A punch lands to the side of Perkele 's head but he takes it in his stride. Oh Perkele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Perkele tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Perkele looks up at the clock. Bad move! Stefans lands a right hand from hell, dropping Perkele. Stefans pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
