Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Resnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ian Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marko Resnov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Key. Resnov does a little dance to reset his feet. Key could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Key swats away the attempt to clinch by Resnov. Resnov misses with a two punch combination.
Key appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Key gets in close and instigates a clinch. Resnov looking to slow down the pace here. Key looks to throw an elbow but misses. Resnov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Key is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Resnov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Resnov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Resnov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Donk. Resnov catches Key right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resnov lunges at Key with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Key's hand. Resnov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Key backs up against the cage.
Resnov throws a shot to the body.
Resnov misses with a head kick.
Key shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Key was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Resnov tries to escape but Key is in control. Key controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Key decides to stand up, so the ref orders Resnov to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Key has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Resnov. Resnov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Key swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Resnov counters with a series of strikes. Key will be more careful next time no doubt. Resnov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Resnov scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ian Key has been cut. A head kick misses from Resnov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Resnov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Key on the side of the head. Key takes the fight into the clinch. Resnov lands a good knee to the midsection. Key won't want to take too many of those. Resnov breaks from the clinch.
Resnov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Resnov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Resnov utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Resnov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Resnov wants to clinch up but Key keeps it at a distance. Resnov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Key doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Key lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Resnov circles away quickly and effectively. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Key moves into the clinch successfully.
Key is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Resnov to keep the fight standing. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Resnov manages to break the clinch.
Key tries for a takedown but Resnov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Resnov was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Key. That's going to take a lot out of him. Key is breathing heavily. Key shoots in looking for a takedown. Resnov tries to sprawl out of it but Key keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Resnov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marko Resnov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ian Key's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Key drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Resnov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Resnov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Key drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Key takes an elbow to the forehead. Key tries to pull guard but Resnov holds him up against the cage and eventually Key drops back down to his feet.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Key as Resnov tries to tie him up. Resnov dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Key shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Resnov counters with a straight right hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Resnov tries to close the distance and clinch but Key swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Key pushes Resnov up against the cage in a clinch. Resnov digs a right hand underneath Key's ribcage. Key let out a lung full of air as it connected. Resnov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Key backwards. Resnov crunches a lovely knee into Key's ribcage. Key escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Whack! Resnov lands a heavy head kick that drops Key. The ref tackles Resnov to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Key was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Marko Resnov!
