Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damo Dustup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myoto Lachida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damo Dustup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Myoto Lachida! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dustup swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lachida decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dustup's guard. Dustup tries to strike from the bottom.
Lachida wants to pass the guard but Dustup is keeping the position. Lachida lands a couple of digs. Lachida looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lachida pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dustup is keeping the position for now. Lachida slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lachida in side control lands a decent elbow.
It looks like Damo Dustup has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dustup takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lachida sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dustup is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dustup misses with an elbow from the bottom. Dustup avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lachida.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lachida in side control, throwing shots but Dustup defends. Lachida working the ground and pound but Dustup is defending the strikes. Lachida tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lachida has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dustup is trying to buck Lachida off. Lachida goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dustup rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lachida's guard! Nice work there by Dustup!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lachida throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dustup uses it to pass to side control.
Dustup tries to stand but Lachida is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lachida manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Lachida has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lachida looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lachida is not content to let Dustup control the position. Dustup knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lachida on the ground. Lachida is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dustup pulls his head out easily. Lachida gets full guard. Dustup got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lachida has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dustup has managed to get both his arms back between Lachida's legs - danger averted. Lachida keeping moving, preventing Dustup from controlling successfully. Dustup connects with a couple of short punches. Dustup working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dustup wanted to stand there but Lachida had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dustup keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lachida's head. Lachida has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dustup can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dustup has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dustup cracks Lachida with a solid left hand. Dustup working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lachida's head. Dustup would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dustup wants to control from the top but Lachida keeps moving. Lachida has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dustup should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lachida has tightened it up now! Dustup should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Myoto Lachida! A very excited looking Myoto Lachida rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
