Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Ekart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sindri Haraldsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Craig Ekart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sindri Haraldsson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ekart circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Ekart. No joy for Haraldsson on that attempt. Haraldsson fails with a takedown attempt. Haraldsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Haraldsson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ekart's sensitive parts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haraldsson goes for a double leg but Ekart avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ekart continues to drive forward. Haraldsson moves in looking to clinch but Ekart pushes him off. Ekart changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Haraldsson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ekart is keen to just control but Haraldsson is a slippery customer. Ekart lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ekart is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ekart slips a nice elbow through Haraldsson's hands, connecting with Haraldsson's forehead. Ekart looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ekart working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ekart is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Haraldsson can do to turn this around? Ekart uses his free foot to push down on Haraldsson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Haraldsson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A nice elbow there by Ekart. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ekart lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ekart trying to control but he's not successful this time. Haraldsson seems to have recovered his senses. Ekart is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Haraldsson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ekart wants to finish this one by submission but Haraldsson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ekart. Ekart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ekart has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haraldsson's face.
