Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mara will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
An attempted straight right counter from Trejo misses the target.

Trejo tries to bum rush Mara with a series of wild strikes but Mara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Trejo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mara eats them both and turns towards Trejo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

No joy there for Trejo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trejo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mara to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Mara should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Trejo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mara manages to get himself to full guard.

Trejo has gone for a leg lock! Mara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Trejo's guard.
Mara passes Trejo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Mara is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Trejo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
