Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borat Sagdiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Love Aikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sagdiyev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mamaliga. Borat Sagdiyev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aikawa.
Aikawa tries to clinch up.
Aikawa wants to clinch up but Sagdiyev keeps it at a distance.
Sagdiyev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aikawa closes the distance and pushes Sagdiyev back into the cage.

It looked like Sagdiyev wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Aikawa throws a lazy right hand but Sagdiyev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sagdiyev swings wildly with an uppercut but Aikawa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aikawa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sagdiyev's efforts to push away.

Aikawa is looking to clinch but Sagdiyev is avoiding it.
Sagdiyev tried to counter with a leg kick but Aikawa avoided it.
Aikawa lands with an uppercut that bounces Sagdiyev off the cage and back into range.

and Sagdiyev counters with a stiff right hand.

Aikawa forces Sagdiyev back against the cage and clinches.

Aikawa shoots in and drives through. Sagdiyev sprawls well.

Love Aikawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Aikawa looks to move away, Sagdiyev throws a big counter combo bu Aikawa just gets out of the way.

and Sagdiyev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Sagdiyev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aikawa's guard.
Aikawa looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Sagdiyev passes into half guard.
Sagdiyev gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Aikawa throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sagdiyev counters with a crisp right that sends Aikawa to the canvas! Sagdiyev follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
