Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Oliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slyker comes to the cage accompanied by It's Amazing by Kanye West. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 30 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Slyker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samir Oliva! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliva leaves Slyker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Oliva tries to land a front kick but Slyker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Slyker throws a series of punches but Oliva moves out of range. A punch combination from Slyker misses. Slyker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Slyker misses with the ground and pound. Slyker cracks Oliva with an elbow. That is naaassty. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oliva can do anything to dispel that myth. Slyker throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oliva is trying to get back to half guard. Slyker working the ground and pound but Oliva is defending the strikes. Slyker throws an elbow but Oliva slips to the side and avoids it well. Slyker throws a strike aimed at the side of Oliva's head but Oliva avoids it well. Oliva defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slyker working the ground and pound from side control.
It looks like Samir Oliva has been cut. Sloppy strikes there by Slyker. Slyker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Oliva is avoiding damage well.
Slyker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Oliva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Slyker cracks Oliva with a big right hand but Oliva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Slyker fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Slyker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Slyker in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Oliva on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That has opened up Samir Oliva's cut even more. Oliva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slyker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ground and pound from Slyker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Slyker working the ground and pound but Oliva is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slyker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Slyker is trying to ground and pound but Oliva uses the momentary lack of control by Slyker to regain half guard. Slyker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Oliva defending well though. Oliva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slyker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Slyker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Oliva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Slyker. Slyker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Slyker scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The cut above Samir Oliva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Samir Oliva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Cain Slyker! Our winner, Cain Slyker, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
