Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Kater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Barrantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kater kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Seringai - "Akselerasi Maksimum". Barrantes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pinchers - Bandelero. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juan Barrantes!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrantes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Barrantes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kater is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Barrantes has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Barrantes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kater looks calm but he's in trouble here. Barrantes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kater is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Barrantes lets go of the hold and Kater can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Juan Barrantes!
