Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rich Ghost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Wrestler! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestler lands with a kick to the temple. Ghost shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Rich Ghost has been cut. Wrestler darts in looking for a takedown but Ghost gets double underhooks and turns Wrestler into the cage. Wrestler misses with a takedown attempt - Ghost sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ghost has a takedown stuffed. Ghost darts in trying to clinch and Wrestler counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ghost slips a jab and a cross from Wrestler.
Ghost shoots in for a double leg but Wrestler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wrestler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wrestler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ghost trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ghost throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestler stands up out of Ghost's guard for a moment - Ghost manages to land a nice upkick. Wrestler lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ghost striking off his back but it's not causing Wrestler any problems. Wrestler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wrestler content to stall in guard here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ghost looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wrestler puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wrestler working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wrestler in particular looking to stall. Wrestler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ghost! Wrestler blocks Ghost's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Ghost flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Ghost is squirming around, avoiding Wrestler's attempts to control the action. Wrestler controlling from mount. Wrestler prevents Ghost from getting the reversal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrestler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Let's hope that Wrestler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wrestler unloading with bombs! Ghost on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ghost tries to get out of the position.

Ghost manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wrestler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ghost. That did some damage! Ghost has a takedown stuffed. Nice body kick from Wrestler. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wrestler throws a head kick that half lands.
Wrestler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ghost is trying to defend but Wrestler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wrestler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ghost defends it well.

Wrestler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ghost does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wrestler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ghost has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wrestler controlling from side mount. Wrestler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ghost, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ghost misses with an elbow from the bottom. Wrestler trying to control the position but Ghost is working away. Wrestler takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Ghost to pass into mount. Wrestler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wrestler working for a guillotine from mount but Ghost is in no mood to give up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wrestler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ghost tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wrestler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ghost is looking to escape. Ghost working to try and regain half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wrestler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Rich Ghost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The Wrestler is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wrestler controlling from the full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! The Wrestler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wrestler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
