Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bonald Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hell's Bells. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bonald Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Riddick!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick tries a head kick but it misses.
Riddick is looking to land body kicks.
Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Scott throws a nice looking combination but Riddick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Scott has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rape Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Scott lands a jab.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch but Riddick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Riddick looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Scott attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Riddick lands a right hook to the body.
Riddick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Scott throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Riddick! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riddick swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Scott wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Riddick misses the shot to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Scott on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Riddick missing with a left hand there. Scott was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Riddick pivots, looking for a leg kick but Scott is out of range and Riddick settles back down.
Scott dives in and grabs Riddick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Riddick pushes down on Scott's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bonald Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Scott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riddick to the mat! Riddick manages to get full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott won't allow Riddick to sweep him here.
Scott throwing strikes from guard but Riddick blocks nicely.
Scott passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but Riddick is defending well.
Riddick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Riddick is not content to let Scott control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riddick is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scott asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Scott throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Scott trying to control the position but Riddick is working away.
Scott is really struggling to control Riddick but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Scott landing a few strikes.
Riddick wants to get back to his feet but Scott is dominant here and he's now got Riddick's back!
Riddick tries to break free.
Riddick trying to control the action but Scott just sinks the hooks in.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Scott is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Riddick taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Scott.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bonald Scott!
A relieved looking Bonald Scott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
