Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zarek Reschke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Urijah Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zarek Reschke!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reschke's guard.

Reschke has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Faber has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

We've been informed that Reschke has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Reschke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Urijah Faber.
I think Faber has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
