Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pinochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Pinochet or perhaps it was just good defense by Quagmire, which made it look bad.
Quagmire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pinochet.
We've been informed that Quagmire has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Quagmire fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pinochet checks it well.

Pinochet is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Quagmire can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pinochet is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Quagmire is defending well though. Pinochet let's go of the attempt for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinochet just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Quagmire is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Pinochet off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
