Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Blue clear sky. Dragov has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX as his entrance music. Sparky Anderson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragov shoots in but Anderson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Anderson checks a leg kick nicely.
Anderson wants to clinch.
Anderson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anderson lands in his opponent's guard.
Anderson is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dragov throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Dragov wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment.
Anderson forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson is working for a submission of some sort.
Dragov tries to roll over but Anderson keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson is pressing down on Dragov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dragov is holding on for now.
Anderson thows a huge punch but Dragov dodges it nicely.
Dragov preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anderson moves into full mount! Dragov won't be happy about that!
Anderson fails to advance to Dragov's back.
Anderson tries to control but Dragov wriggling away.
Anderson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dragov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dragov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Dragov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dragov wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
Dragov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dragov tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dragov postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it.
Dragov trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Dragov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Anderson has locked up a guillotine! Anderson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dragov is holding on here and Anderson must be using up a lot of energy. Dragov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Anderson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sparky Anderson!
Sparky Anderson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
