The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turshatov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nunes swivels and escapes.
Nunes misses with a hook. Turshatov ducked under it nicely.
Nunes throws an overhand right that lands on Turshatov's shoulder, as Turshatov tries to avoid the shot.
Turshatov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nunes is trying to defend but Turshatov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Nunes wants to get back to his feet.
Nunes is defending against the submission attempts here by Turshatov.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Turshatov in particular looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turshatov is working for a kimura but Nunes is defending it quite comfortably.

Turshatov wants to control but Nunes is keeping him busy.
Nunes is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Turshatov has latched onto it... Big trouble! Turshatov pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Nunes is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Turshatov!
