Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank White is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Balboa as White shoots in.
Donk. Balboa catches White right on the button with a cross.


It looks like Frank White has been cut.
Balboa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Balboa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Balboa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
White looks for a takedown but Balboa sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balboa tries a head kick but it misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Balboa can do anything to dispel that myth.

White tries to counter by clinching up but Balboa breaks away and moves out of range.

White darts in looking for a takedown but Balboa gets double underhooks and turns White into the cage.

White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Balboa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from White.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.

Balboa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Balboa tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Balboa to the ground. Balboa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

White drops down looking for a counter takedown but Balboa sprawls and moves away.
White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Balboa defends it nicely.

Balboa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Balboa wants it to stay on the feet.

Balboa lands an elbow that stopped White in his tracks for a moment.
Balboa works on White's body with a couple of short punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Balboa is looking to stand up but White isn't so interested in that idea.
Balboa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Balboa is trying to control the position but White postures up.
Balboa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. White manages to get himself to full guard.

White throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Balboa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
White wants to sweep here but Balboa controlling him for the moment.
White wants to stand up but Balboa is controlling him.

White has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Balboa is working away from the top position though.
White tries to get to full guard but Balboa has control of the leg.
Balboa is taking a breather. White says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
White shoots in for a double leg but Balboa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Balboa. No joy for White on that attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Balboa darts in looking for a takedown but White gets double underhooks and turns Balboa into the cage.
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Balboa but Balboa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Balboa scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Balboa is not content to let White control the position.
Balboa wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Balboa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though.

Rocky Balboa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frank White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Balboa gets a double leg takedown into White's guard.
Balboa is fighting to break White's control of his arms but White is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rocky Balboa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Balboa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but White has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Balboa is looking to defend but White has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Balboa! White pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Balboa taps out and this one is all over!
