Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Meida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abbe Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Faria's choice of entrance music: My Own Summer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Meida shoots in for a takedown but Faria shows good takedown defense.

Meida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Faria's waist but Faria gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meida off to one side.

Faria drops Meida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Meida looks back up at him and smiles so Faria waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Faria has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
