Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!On his way into the cage it seems that Gustav Graves has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gustav Graves seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Johnson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson slips a straight right by Graves. Gustav Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves swinging wilding here.

Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Graves which made him look bad. Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Graves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graves lands with a right hand.
It looks like James Johnson has been cut. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Gustav Graves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Johnson. Graves throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Graves keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Graves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Graves won't allow Johnson to sweep him here. Graves drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johnson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Graves has Johnson in his guard. Graves swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnson forces his way into half guard. Johnson thows a huge punch but Graves dodges it nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gustav Graves will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on James Johnson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
